Description
This bird’s-eye view from 1907 shows the main hospital surrounded by four wings, with the surgical pavilion connected in the rear. The Pratt Building is a short walk across the lawn behind the hospital. In the 100-plus years since this drawing, the hospital’s landscape has changed considerably. The former Pratt Building site lies within the footprint of the 2012 Hospital of the Future complex, while the original 1889 hospital is situated between the Springfield and Daly Buildings.
