Description
Dr. Frederick Hopkins is pictured driving a new Stevens-Duryea in 1905. Stevens-Duryea automobiles were manufactured in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, in the early 1900s. Unfortunately, after the company had aggressively expanded to a larger plant in East Springfield, financial difficulties forced a halt to production in 1915. The plant later became the site of the New England Westinghouse Company.
